#CapitalCrime24 Headline event – The Anatomy of a Crime: From Crime to Conviction @CapitalCrime1 @karlou @JoyKluver

Less than four weeks until Capital Crime returns on Thursday 30th May! There are lots of panels to choose from and amazing authors to see at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in St. Paul’s, 10 Godliman Street, London, EC4V 5AJ. You can buy day or weekend tickets or, if you don’t have the time or budget for that, you can book individual events. You can book tickets here.

Kicking off the whole programmes at 12pm on Thursday 30th May is an event that I’m really looking forward to. As a police procedural author, I know how important it is to create authentic scenes. We’re blessed in the crime writing industry with having police and justice professionals writing their own books, demonstrating their expertise. Here’s the blurb from the schedule.

The Anatomy of a Crime: From Crime to Conviction
A factual, entertainment driven, account of the timeline from crime to conviction presented to you by specialists in their field live on stage. Experience crime scene briefings to bitesize trial and have your say in whether the accused is guilty or should walk free!
Perfect for: Those writing crime novels looking for a factual representation of the events from crime to conviction; those who want to see some of their favourite authors execute their day jobs including: Senior Investigating Officer, Detective, Crime Scene Investigator, Judge and Barristers.
