Author events are back at West Barnes Library!

After promoting lots on Facebook and Twitter, I’ve just realised that I haven’t done a blog post for our first in-person event after the pandemic. So, in case you haven’t seen my endless tweets and Facebook posts, here are the details. I’ll be interviewing David Young and Amanda Lees about their new WW2 books. David’s book, Death in Blitz City, focuses on life in Hull during the war. Amanda’s book, The Silence Before Dawn, is set in France with the Resistance. We’ll be at West Barnes Library on Thursday 20th October at 7.30pm. Don’t be fooled by the name though – we’re not in Barnes but Motspur Park, and the library is next to the station.
